Calling All Pianists! All Ages and Stages - The piano and the Cosmos!
Four categories for performers:
Pianokosmos! for area pianists in Madison Square Park on June 21st, 3:30-7:30. Our theme is the world of the piano and how we interact with the greater cosmos. Players can be from all ages and stages - music is Bartok's Mikrokosmos bks 1-6, George Crumbs Makrokosmos Bks 1-3 and Vincent Ho's 12 Chinese Zodiac Animals, bks 1-3. --Our next summer music festival is taking place in Aldersbach, Germany, July 1st - July 13th.
There will be a student concert and sightseeing in Salzburg, Austria! Our venue and home base in Salzburg will be the famous Leopoldskron, site of the beloved film "The Sound of Music."
